As i went on my journey, Russia was my first stop. I chose this country due to the fact that it is the largest in the world with 145.5 million people and neighbors more countries than any other. A few other reasons why this amazing country caught my attention was their diversity of religions ranging from islam, Catholicism, Protestantism and also Judaism. As I was visiting i stopped by Moscow to visit Red Square, which is considered to be "The center of Moscow" as i was there i found out that the name Red Square formed from the russian word Krasnaya which means beautiful. It is Moscow's oldest and one of their most famous landmarks. While touring moscow i had hear about one of Moscow's oldest buildings. For the fact that it was built in 1612 and has stood strong ever since, i had decided to go check it out. The church of St. Nicola is located in the village kamenskoe and is made out of thick limestone and was estimated to stand for 638 years.
